Colby Winters is an former SEAL, Alpha male with a super hero complex and a candy addiction. 
Mia Kensington is an intelligent, sassy and very determined woman. She doesn't take shit from anyone, nor does she hesitate to call ANYONE on it.
Colby works for a tactical operations firm named Titan Group, he's been sent on a mission to secure a package. He doesn't know what's in the package and doesn't need to. What he does know is he's being followed.
Mia is after the same package, difference is she knows what's at stake.
As luck would have it, Mia is first to the location and gets what she's looking for. Unfortunately, she finds herself kidnaped by two Columbian cartel goons.
He was supposed to "dust of" his "kid gloves and use them."
He expected a scared hysterical woman, he got a fierce little tiger. But she's still no match for G.I. Joe.
They begin their crazy road trip; cartel in tow. There is definitely a lot of action, danger, and suspense. These two are undeniably attracted to each other and all this adrenalin leads to some seriously hot scenes.
He knotted a hand in her hair, held her to him, and devoured her.
It seemed all she needed was him. Hard. Tough. Possessive.
"You'll come so hard, you'll forget the hell you've endured."
"I made you scream before. I want to hear it again."
We get to meet some of the Titan Group guys. Their personalities are priceless. The story flowed really well. It's very fast-paced, full of excitement, danger, and humor. There were times I had a smile plastered on my face while reading some of the character interactions.
And then, there was some of this:
This was highly entertaining and totally engrossing.
Possessive hot Alphas with guns, delicious sex scenes, an intelligent take no shit heroine, vivid action, unexpected plot twists and it was FREE.
